A Lab Manual of Seismic Processing

The Lab Manual uses the Seismic Processing Workshop (SPW) software package to process a near-surface 2-D, reflection dataset from Canada. The Lab Manual comprises material from 12 lab sessions intended to be a self-contained package suitable for individual or group use.  The accompanying CD-ROM contains 1) the seismic file for the Casselman survey in SEG-Y format. 2) all SPW files generated by processing in each lab 3) the SPW executable code (v.2.0.3) which will execute the Casselman dataset only 4) all PGC documentation normally bundled with the SPW executable code. The Lab Manual was written in 2004 using SPW version 1.8.19 and version 2.0.3. Later versions of SPW will show some differences in the format of interactive spreadsheets. These differences are generally minor and their impact on the SPW Lab Manual processing flows is small. To download the latest version of SPW see the Parallel Geophysics Corporation website (www.parallelgeo.com).
